About Me

Hi, I Am D'Nae Baker

A Registered Dietitian, trained Chef, and the founder of DNA360 Wellness.

I blend the science of nutrition with the art of cooking to help people and restaurants bring intention, wellness, and flavor to every plate.

With over a decade of experience, I’ve worked with private clients, corporate wellness teams, schools, and restaurants to create real-life solutions for healthy living. Whether I’m meal-prepping for a busy family, leading a nutrition seminar, collaborating with chefs on allergen-friendly menus, or hosting a cooking class — my mission stays the same: to help people eat well, feel well, and live well.

My approach is rooted in mind-body health, gut support, and whole foods — but always layered with vibrant flavor and culture. Food should taste good, feel good, and support your lifestyle without restriction or overwhelm.

ABOUT D'NAE BAKER

My Story

My journey with food and wellness began at a young age, when my mother was diagnosed with colon cancer at just 30 years old. As the only child, I became her biggest support—learning how to cook, reading food labels, and helping her adopt healthier habits throughout her treatment. That experience shaped my relationship with food and ignited a lifelong desire to help others heal through nutrition.

My passion grew as I experimented in the kitchen, turning simple ingredients into nourishing, eye-catching dishes. After earning my Associate of Science in Culinary Arts and Bachelor of Science in Food Service Management from Johnson & Wales University, I began to understand how deeply food choices impact our health. I later completed a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics, followed by a supervised dietetic internship that allowed me to serve in clinical, school, and foodservice settings.

But my story doesn’t stop there.

I was also born with a rare abdominal condition called Gastroschisis, which affected how I absorbed nutrients and digested food my entire life. For years, I struggled with chronic digestive issues, bloating, and discomfort without ever realizing that nutrition could be the answer. When I finally began to heal my body with the right foods, everything changed. I found relief, confidence, and energy—and I knew I had to help others experience the same.

DNA360 Wellness is the result of that mission: to blend culinary creativity with nutrition science, and empower others to eat well, feel well, and live well—from the inside out.

My Philosophy

I believe food is one of the most powerful forms of medicine. Real, whole ingredients have the ability to fuel, nourish, and restore the body when used with intention. My approach is not about one-size-fits-all solutions—but about finding what works for the individual.

By helping clients develop a healthier relationship with food, I guide them toward sustainable habits that support long-term wellness. Through a personalized, pragmatic approach rooted in nutrition science and lifestyle integration, I create wellness plans that are practical, empowering, and uniquely aligned with each person’s needs and goals.
